BermondseyStreet.London focuses on the area round Bermondsey St, bounded to the east by Tower Bridge Rd, to the north by Druid/Crucifix/St Thomas Streets, to the west by Weston St and to the south by Long Lane, including Bermondsey Square. We organise visits, events and meetings where you can get to know about the area, meet your neighbours and find out more about local businesses. Contact us to find out more.
Because of its long history, much of the area is classed as a conservation area and some of the older buildings are listed. These include industrial buildings, now adapted for other purposes as well as historic houses. BermondseyStreet.London has produced Trail Guides which can guide you round the area while you learn about its heritage and architecture.
We share information about our area and act as the voice of local people on local issues. We are a not-for-profit group, run by unpaid volunteers.
