07 May More volunteers wanted for Bermondsey Street Festival

As the new crew that organise the much-loved Bermondsey Street Festival head into their second year, they are calling for more volunteers to come forward to help on the day, and more local businesses to sponsor the event. The festival is a one-day event, Saturday 20 September 11-7pm. Bermondsey Street is lined with stalls, and local parks are full of live music, streetfood, the dogshow, the maypole, and other entertainments. IT has been going for nearly 20 years and is a great favourite with local people and the many visitors who flock to it.
