26 Feb At Vitrine from Thursday 29 February – Willem Hussem

‘why the rush, do you know when your work is done’ is the first London solo exhibition of Dutch artist Willem Hussem, presented in collaboration with Dürst Britt & Mayhew. It will be on display at Vitrine gallery in Bermondsey Square from Thursday 29 February and includes abstract oil paintings alongside some of his short poems. Hussem worked in many mediums – painting, drawing and sculpture, as well as writing poetry, always aiming for the simplicity and purity he found in Zen Bhuddism.
