03 Apr Barrington Tobin at Eames from Thursday 2 April

Barrington Tobin’s new exhibition The Road to Gable Court, opens at Eames on Thursday 2 April. It follows his successful exhibition there last autumn and presents many new works alongside a selection from the archive. The works have been inspired by his new surroundings since he moved to the west country. They are on canvas, panels and carborundum. The result is beguiling and immersive, sumptuous layers of colour in a visual language that has evolved over more than three decades.
