15 Aug Bermondsey Chamber Orchestra concert Monday 18 August

Once again, on Monday 18 August, St Mary Magdalen church in Bermondsey Street will resound with marvellous music from Bermondsey Chamber Orchestra. The group is made up of young professional musicians from London’s leading orchestras. On this occasion they will be celebrating love ‘swith two works: Wagner’s Siegfried Idyll and Copland’s Appalachian Spring. The orchestra was formed earlier this year by conductor Tania Mazetti, and this will be its second performance at the church.

The church is at 193 Bermondsey Street SE1 3UW. The concert will begin at 7pm on Monday 18 August and entry will be £5. More here.
