11 Mar Bermondsey Street Festival 2026 proposes closing later

It is great news that Bermondsey Street Festival will be happening once again, the 20th festival (hurrah!) on Saturday 19 September. You may recall from previous festivals that sadly the fun has been all over by 7pm. This year the organisers have sought a licence for extended hours – closing instead at 8pm. The licence application covers both the sale of alcohol and the provision of entertainment including music in Tanner Street Park.
