Southwark Council is offering support and opportunities for cultural organisations in the borough. These include:

Culture Together Grants Fund – applications deadline 27 January 2025
The Culture Together Grant Fund 2025/26  is still open. It will support the delivery of projects that help to build a sustainable and inclusive cultural sector. 

Southwark Pride Fund – open for applications from Monday 3 February
The Southwark Pride fund supports our LGBTQI+ communities to create events that celebrate lesbian, gay, bisexual transgender and queer identity the culture, histories and rights of these communities. Events must take place in Southwark from Pride Month in June to the end of August.

Abacus Arts is for sale
The founder of Abacus Arts, has moved abroad and offers Abacus Arts for sale. This includes the Abacus Arts business as a going concern, including its studio and premises at 2A Browning St. Additional information for potential purchasers can be requested by email to: AbacusArts2025@gmail.com
