16 Jun Celebration in Potters Fields Park Saturday 20 June

Potters Fields Park’s 21st birthday festival will take place in the park on Saturday 20 June 12-8pm. It will be free with something for all the family. For music, Doolally tap will be starting the celebrations with two sets of New Orleans jazz, followed by a dance performance, The Overproofs will present their Jamaican-influenced R’n’B, ska, dub rock, and reggae to the stage. The music will end with two sets from The Bikini Beach Band. There will also be a ‘Fur the love of dog’ show organised by Bermondsey-based brewer Hiver Arches. The Castellers of London will be putting on a thrilling human pyramid display known as a castell. There will be arts and crafts for children provided by The Kids Table, puppet-making as part of the Bermondsey Puppet & Storytelling Festival and a mini sports day, as well as walks, talks, workshops and market stalls.

Potters Field Park is on Tooley Street, near Tower Bridge SE1 2UD. The event is free, no booking needed. Refreshments by the traders from the Tower Bridge Collective and drinks from Hiver Beers.
