01 Aug Citizen science – butterfly count by Sunday 10 August

Following the results of the Big Butterfly Count 2024, Butterfly Conservation have declared a butterfly emergency. By taking part in Butterfly Conservation’s Big Butterfly Count 2025,  a UK-wide survey, you can help assess the health of our environment. Download the butterfly ID chart or the app and record the butterflies you spot. Watch for 15 minutes and record the species you see before Sunday 10 August.
