16 Apr Dockhead Fire Station Open Day Saturday 18 April

Saturday 18 April is an opportunity to celebrate St George’s Day at Dockhead Fire Station with the London Fire Brigade. The doors will open to offer the local community lots of emergency services fun, with a St George’s Day twist! The event is designed to bring people together from different backgrounds and cultures by sharing traditions, food, music, and stories. There will be live music, a close-up magician, craft activities, Pearly Kings & Queens, badge-making, Morris dancers, fish & chips, ice cream, Mounted Police, London Ambulance Service, multi-faith chaplains, Millwall FC community trust and much more! We are generously supported by LFB Welfare Fund and London Fire Brigade, raising funds for Refuge and Firefighters’ Charity.

The event runs from 11am to 4pm. It is free to attend, with cash/card stalls. The Dockhead Fire Station is at 8 Wolseley Street SE1 2BP. More  here.
