St Mary Magdalen church will be ringing with wonderful music on Sunday 22 March at 6.30pm. Bermondsey Chamber Orchestra will be celebrating its first anniversary with yet another glorious concert. The programme includes a Schumann cello concerto, soloist Waynne Kwon, and Mozart’s Jupiter symphony. The orchestra will be conducted by the founder Tania Mazetti. All the musicians are young professional musicians from London’s leading orchestras. Lucky for us, they come together to make music for their local community.
St Mary Magdalen church is at 193 Bermondsey Street SE1 3UW. Free entry, donations welcome. Drinks and chat afterwards.
