From Sunday 1 June, 8th year of free live jazz in Bermondsey Square

The popular FREE Bermondsey Square Jazz Days will return this summer for their 8th season starting Sunday 1 June 2 – 5pm. The jazz days will run on the FIRST Sunday of each month June – September. These events proudly support creative music talent , diversity and community enrichment.  Over the years over 200 different musicians, many of them students and graduates of London’s leading music colleges have performed at the jazz days.

The series has included tributes to Windrush, Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee and The King’s Coronation. On 1 June this year, there will be a triumphant trombone ensemble tribute to the 80th  anniversary of VE Day. On 6 July jazz day will support Pride in Southwark, running 1.30-5.30 pm and including salsa dancing and an LGBTQ+ community choir.

The music will be in Bermondsey Square, seating provided.
