Gail Brodholt at Eames Fine Art

Gail Brodholt’s latest exhibition of prints is called A London Alphabet and is an A_Z of London views in linocut. She says “Having made London the focus of my work for many years, it occurred to me that, with such a fast-changing subject matter, it could be useful to construct a framework such as an alphabet with which to explore unfamiliar corners of the city.  It turns out that while some letters are easy to fill, some are very much harder! The fortunate side effect of this has encouraged me to tackle subjects that I wouldn’t necessarily have chosen, and the challenge has proved to be very invigorating.”

The exhibition will be open from Thursday 10 October at Eames Fine Art, 58 Bermondsey Street SE1 3UD. More here http://www.eamesfineart.com
