19 May José celebrates 15 years on Bermondsey Street

José Pizarro arrived on Bermondsey Street 15 years ago and opened José tapas bar, and now has six restaurants including three on the street. José, Pizarro and Lola all offer traditional Spanish cooking and a great atmosphere. The street has changed a lot in that time and José’s restaurants have grown with it, developing new dishes, menus, keeping going with take-outs during Covid lockdowns. The savoury Bermondsey Bomba, a dish served in the earliest years is being revived as part of the celebrations, which will continue until December. Many Congratulations to José!
