05 Apr Live performance and audience engagement at Ugly Duck in April

The coming week sees two live events at Ugly Duck:

Atenti on Saturday 6 April at 2pm and 7pm. Botswana-born Award-Winning Artist, Katlego K Kolanyane-Kesupile will present three art, immersive video screenings and a captivating live performance seeking to foster interaction with the audience. Themes will centre on the power dynamics of permission, echoing those of colonialism.

My Blood is my Voice Wednesday 10- Thursday 11 April 7-8.30pm, which will Explore a multisensory world built around the power of the collective human voice through the queer & neuroqueer lens. It is a showcase of live vocal work and digital visual installation that invites audience participation. It is the result of a year-long residency at Ugly Duck by artists Porscha Present, Tobi Adebajo, Winter James, Reyhan Yusuf, Yuki Nakayama & Harshini J. Karunaratne.
