29 Oct Met Police activity around our open spaces

Our local Met Police PCSO Paul Durrant sent an update at the weekend about police action in our local public spaces. This resulted over the weekend in two arrests: a shoplifter at the Sainsburys in Bermondsey Square, also wanted for immigration offences, and a man doing Class A drugs in St Mary Magdalen Churchyard, also wanted for recall to prison. On Sunday a drug user in Tanner Street Park received a verbal warning. Thanks to the local police team for all their work making our area safer.
