10 Nov Mozart and Brahms at St Mary’s Saturday 15 November

Soloists of the Bermondsey Chamber Orchestra will be performing two favourite works for stringed instruments at St Mary Magdalen Church on Saturday 15 December at 6pm. The two works are Mozart’s String Quintet in G minor and Brahms String Sextet. The musicians are all young professionals who play in London’s major orchestras, and also volunteer (lucky for us!) with the Bermondsey  Chamber Orchestra to bring us wonderful live classical music locally. Do go along if you can, these young professionals are really something, full of energy and musically very talented.

St Mary Magdalen church, the oldest local building still standing, is at 193 Bermondsey Street Se1 3UW.  Entry is £5, free for under 18s. The money will go to the church building restoration fund.
