03 Sep New exhibition at London Glassblowing from 12 September

Peter Layton and Tim Rawlinson’s latest show of art glass works Confluence will be open at the London Glassblowing Centre from Friday 12 September. The works here come from a merging and blending of ideas, a real collaboration between the artists. They are both extremely interested in creating visual texture, and exploring colour and surface treatments. They seek to create flowing movement and optical depth.  Tim’s new works explore the optical possibilities of textured surfaces, creating illusions of movement.

The London Glassblowing Centre is at 62-66 Bermondsey Street SE1 3UD. The exhibition opens on Friday 12 September. More here.
