10 Jan Nigel Swift’s exhibition Earth’s Loveliness at Eames Fine Art

From Thursday 16 January, Nigel Swift’s latest exhibition will be showing at Eames Fine Art. The collection of oil pastel drawings is entitled Earth’s Loveliness. This is a reference to Michelangelo quote ‘My soul can find no staircase to Heaven unless it be through Earth’s loveliness’. The collection began two years ago when Nigel was drawing in a lovely south London garden which, he found, inspired him to more. Nigel has drawn people, created sculpture, made models for film and TV in his career, and now at last has produced a garden and flowers collection, as he says ‘paintings that please me’.
