‘Communities and businesses help shape ideas for the London Bridge area

Through our Streets for People programme, we’ve been working with communities and businesses in the London Bridge area to make local streets cleaner, greener and safer.

During our engagement in October, 94% told us they travel by walking, cycling or using public transport, while 84% of respondents want more trees, planting, biodiversity and sustainability, along with healthier air, and 83% outlined improved road safety as a priority. 

Later this year we will be sharing more detailed designs and consulting further with communities and businesses in the London Bridge area. ‘
