22 Aug Planning permission for Aviva’s Bermondsey Street/Snowsfields/Warehouse scheme

It was back in 2019 when the first planning application was made for the redevelopment of the complex site at 40-44 Bermondsey Street, and the old warehouse on the other side of Snowsfields. Now, as expected, and despite objections from pressure groups and local residents, permission has been granted. This will mean a 7-storey addition to the old warehouse in Vinegar Yard and 12 storeys at 40 Bermondsey Street, all commercial.
