18 Sep Proposed street improvements round the London Bridge area

Under its Streets for People programme, and in response to the views expressed by local people, Southwark Council is proposing a number of improvements to streets in the London Bridge area, including our Bermondsey Street area. They include new seating, cycle hangars, road junction improvements, traffic calming and the existing project to widen pavements on Bermondsey Street. You can find out more about what is proposed on the map, and give your views online here.

There will also be the opportunity to join the project team in workshops and guided walks. There is more detail on the website. The closing date for comments is 19 October.
