The Quay Players, a community theatre group, will present The SpongeBob Musical Wednesday 24 – Saturday 27 July at the Greenwood Theatre. Dive into the underwater world of Bikini Bottom. Join SpongeBob and his friends on an epic adventure to save their home from an impending volcanic disaster. Based on the beloved series by Stephen Hillenburg, this heartwarming story, brims with optimism and heroism. The SpongeBob Musical is written by Kyle Jarrow and conceived by Tina Landau, with many original songs. Director Tom Kershaw-Green describes it as a kooky, mad-cap adventure, a fantastic night out for the whole family with brilliant dance routines, colourful costumes and a vibrant score.
