King’s College London has a research project, HAVA, funded by Wellcome. It is investigating whether long-term exposure to air pollution is associated with changes in brain chemistry. The research is focused on Southwark, Lambeth, Lewisham and Croydon and needs healthy volunteers aged 16 and over who have lived in these areas for at least 10 years. Eligible participants will be invited to King’s College London for an MRI brain scan and some additional assessments, and will receive £50 as a thank-you for their time, alongside reimbursement of travel expenses.
