10 May Snowsfields Community Design Review – Monday 20 May

We❤️Snowsfields, a group of neighbours and businesses, has commissioned a community design review of the draft plans for the Snowsfields Quarter. The event will be run by Create Streets which focuses on ‘community co-design to help develop and steward beautiful and popular ‘gentle density’ places which residents and neighbours can love for generations.‘ The meeting will be chaired by founder Nicholas Boys Smith (more here https://www.createstreets.com/. He will be joined by local building design experts to ensure the architect’s explanations are clear and comprehensive. The meeting will be an opportunity to see the latest plans for the scheme presented openly and honestly, and to understand the impact on Snowsfields and the wider neighbourhood. We’ll also hear about the exciting community-led proposals for improving the surrounding green spaces, streets and housing estates.

Everyone will be able to feed back their views through Create Streets and, at last, be heard by developers and planners. Come and join us on Monday 20 May 6pm at St Hugh’s church, Crosby Row SE1 3PT.
