The latest from Mace, the contractor at the Chapter Living site on St Thomas Street…

‘Further to our notice issued on 10th June, and following liaison with London Borough of Southwark and our specialist Crane Contractor, we are now in position to be able to install the remaining two sections from our most recent Climbing operation. We have been monitoring the wind forecast and coordinating with Guy’s Hospital and can confirm we plan to install these sections this Sunday (30th June). The traffic diversion will be in place from 07:00 on Sunday and we expect to be complete the work and re-open the impacted section of Weston Street by 13:00.
