28 Jan Update from the St Thomas Street construction sites

The latest community newsletter from the contractor tells us that Chapter London Bridge is very nearly complete, bar some planting and other small tasks. The Edge London Bridge project is in the final stages, with external cladding and roof plant installation nearly complete. External landscaping will shortly begin on the south side. The coming months will see the removal of tower cranes and hoists which because of safety exclusion zones, will be scheduled over weekends. The work at Edge is expected to be complete by Q3 2026.

The team have also worked with Team London Bridge to refresh the benches at the Greenwood Theatre on Weston Street. The 14 benches had been looking very tired and have now been repaired and repainted.
