The latest newsletter from We❤️Snowsfields provides an update on the changes being considered to the proposed development on the south side of Snowsfields from Weston Street to Crosby Row. We❤️Snowsfields is a group of concerned local residents and businesses seeking the best development for the neighbourhood. Back in May, We❤️Snowsfields commissioned independent advisory group Create Streets to run a consultation workshop to gather local views on the developer’s proposals. In response, the developer is considering a number of welcome changes to their scheme, including reduced height at the western end of the site, more active frontage with retail at ground level from the car park to Weston Street.  We❤️Snowsfields still wants to see more height reductions, better traffic management and parking and committed mitigation works for Hamilton Square, Guy Street Park and local small businesses.
