24 Jul Weekend 26/27 July – work at Edge site, St Thomas Street

The contractor at the Edge London Bridge site on St Thomas Street has informed us that their external twin hoists will be raised this weekend to level 22. For safety reasons this work needs lots of clearance and so Southwark Council has agreed it can be done at the weekend when there are few personnel on the site. The work is expected to create minimal noise and disturbance. The dates may change if there are high winds. Hours of work will be 9-6pm on both Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 July.
