06 Jan Weekend working on St Thomas Street construction sites – postponed by one more week

The latest email from Mace, the contractor on the two St Thomas Street construction sites informs us that, with Southwark Council agreement, work will take place on site over two consecutive weekends outside our standard working hours. The need to work at the weekend arises due to TfL & Metropolitan Police travel restrictions for abnormal & wide loads.

Saturday 27 & Sunday 28 January 2024 – Delivery of modular welfare units on to site between 07:00hrs – 08:00hrs only due to abnormal load restrictions.  Installation of units will commence & complete between 08:00hrs – 17:00hrs on Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday 3 & Sunday 4 February 2024 – Delivery of modular welfare units on to site between 07:00hrs – 08:00hrs only due to abnormal load restrictions.  Installation of units will commence & complete between 08:00hrs – 17:00hrs on Saturday and Sunday.
