05 Mar Family-friendly wassail fun at The Blue Saturday 8 March from 3pm

Trees for Bermondsey, a local charity, has organised an afternoon of wassail fun from 3pm at The Blue Marketplace, Bermondsey SE16 3UQ. There will be music, singing, lantern- and crown-making and special guests from 3pm and a lantern-lit processon at 4.30pm to the Rouel estate Community orchard for the ancient tradition of wassailing to wake up the apple and pear trees. Bring your own musical instrument, or pot and wooden spoon to help make a big sound. All welcome, children must be accompanied by an adult. For more email info@treesforbermondsey.org.uk
