29 Jul TfL proposes to terminate 42 bus route at Tooley Street

Bus route 42 currently runs between Liverpool Street and East Dulwich, overlapping with route 78 along the Tower Bridge Road – Liverpool Street section. TfL proposes that route 42 should terminate before crossing the river, at Tooley Street which they expect will improve reliability on the rest of the 42 route.
