05 Dec Edge London Bridge – extended hours and Christmas closure

Edge London Bridge informs us that late working 4-8pm has been approved on Wednesday 10, Thursday 11 and Friday 12 December for the removal of welfare cabins from the Melior Street frontage. Since the cabins constitute a ‘wide load’, they can only leave the site after 8pm. It is mot envisaged that the work will cause high levels of noise.

The following weekend Saturday 13- Sunday 14 December the crane at the Melior Street/Fenning Street junction will be dismantled and moved, weather permitting. Working hours will be 8-5pm on Saturday and 9-5pm on Sunday. The risks involved mean that the work must be done outside normal working hours.

The site will be closed from Tuesday 23 December, re-opening Monday 5 January.
