Galleon arrives at St Katharine Dock on Wednesday 28 May

The Christopher Columbus Flagship Replica Nao Santa Maria will pass under Tower Bridge, weather permitting on Wednesday 28 May at around 2.30pm and then back downstream again at about 3pm, before mooring in St Katharine Dock. The museum ship will be open for public visits until 8 June. The Neo Santa Maria is a full-scale, four-masted replica of the 15th Century flagship of the navigator and explorer Christopher Columbus. The replica was built in 2018 to the original size and design of the ship that crossed the Atlantic in 1492. The Captain’s cabin, the holds, crew and working areas are furnished in the manner of the time. You can find details about the work the Nao Victoria Foundation on its website
